How to remove the Ask toolbar from Google Chrome

Whilst recently downloading the KMPlayer on the basis that its a good player and I'd used it successfully previously, I decided its time to download it again. However the Ask toolbar is downloaded with the player and installs itself on Google Chrome. To remove the Ask Toolbar:

  1. Click on the Chrome Wrench, and select Tools/Extensions.
  2. Disable the Ask Toolbar.
  3. Delete the Ask Toolbar
  4. If you have WinPatrol, open and click on IE Helpers, select and remove the Ask Toolbar (maybe 2 entries)
Hope this helps you remove the Ask Toolbar.
